French A2 > A2/B1

The French language courses of the University of Groningen Language Centre focus on speaking and understanding French in everyday situations that you might come across in France. A French language course can help you to update your half-forgotten skills or to expand your existing skills. Grammar is used to support the language acquisition.

French level A2 > A2/B1 is for participants who have taken the Level A1 > A2 French course at the Language Centre or have reached a comparable level of proficiency. You have had at least 6 years of French at secondary school. You can participate in simple conversations and exchange simple and straightforward information about familiar topics and activities.

Language of Instruction
The target language is the language of instruction as much as possible. When necessary, the course is taught in Dutch and/or English.

Office Hours
If you want to register and you have not previously taken a French course at the Language Centre, we advise you to visit the office hour to discuss with a teacher which course would suit you best, but this is not mandatory. Please note that you can already register for the course you are interested in. Office hours only take place in the period before the start of the course. If office hours are scheduled, you can make your appointment here.

Test your language level online
You can also determine your starting level of a language training online and in your own time with the placement test. This test gives a global indication of your level for your own reference, for a more personal advice visit our office hour.
