Dutch for professionals 0 > A1 intensive - in person
This course is intended for professionals within and without the University of Groningen. Participants speak little or no Dutch (CEFR level 0). This is a one-week intensive course which consists of 20 contact hours and 20 hours of self-study. Lessons will take place from 9-11 a.m and 1-3 p.m. There will be time for independent study between and after the meetings.

The language courses concentrate on communication, and that means that the Dutch learnt is actively practised during class. Themes that will be dealt with include introducing yourself, ordering something in a café or restaurant, making an appointment, making suggestions, buying something at the market, asking the way and visiting the doctor or bike shop.
