Dutch A2 > B1 for newcomers: civic integration
This course is intended for highly educated people who are going through the civic integration process and whose mother tongue and/or cultural background is radically different from the Dutch language and Western culture. This is the reason you need some more time to learn Dutch. Participants are able to understand Dutch and can get by in everyday situations (CEFR A2 writing, reading, listening, conversation). Knowledge of English is mandatory, since explanations will be given in English.
The course comprises 108 contact hours. The course teaches you Dutch from level A2 to B1 and focuses on several aspects of Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij (KNM, Knowledge of Dutch Society). In addition, attention will be paid to intercultural communication and study skills. Pronunciation support by a speech therapist can be part of the course.
