Social Dutch
Are you on exchange in Groningen this semester, and would you like to make the most of your time in the Netherlands? Then sign up now for the short course on Social Dutch. In four group lessons each lasting 1.5 hours, you will learn words and phrases that can help you out in everyday situations in the Netherlands. We will also delve into the culture and history of the Netherlands, so that you can become more familiar with Dutch customs.
We understand that you already have a busy lecture timetable and social life, and so no homework is assigned in this course. You only have to learn and practise the language during the lessons. Our enthusiastic trainer will acquaint you with Dutch in an enjoyable and interactive manner: fun is the priority!
After this course, you will be able to speak in Dutch to:
- Introduce yourself
- Greet someone
- Make an appointment
- Order something in a cafe or restaurant
- Ask for directions
We are convinced that through this brief introduction to Dutch, you will make your stay in the Netherlands an unforgettable experience.
