Russisch CEFR 0 > A1
The Russian language courses of the University of Groningen Language Centre focus mainly on speaking and understanding Russian. During the Russian beginners' course you will learn the Cyrillic script, in order to be able to read and write Russian.
Participants will learn to read and speak in Russian and communicate about everyday subjects such as working, eating and drinking and hobbies. Grammar is not a goal in itself, but will be used to support language acquisition. You will also be introduced to several cultural aspects of Russia.
Language of Instruction
The target language is the language of instruction as much as possible. The course is taught in Dutch and/or English. Russian courses are open to native and non-native speakers of Dutch. The course material is in Dutch and English.
This course will be taught as an online interactive group course via Blackboard Collaborate; our online classroom for the coming period! One lesson lasts 90 minutes. Per lesson you should count on 2-3 hours of self-study. This course consists of 12 lessons in total. Read here everything you can expect from an online language course.
The course material is not included in the course fee and is not available at the Language Centre.

Please note that a Rosetta Stone account is not compulsory for our language courses and will not be used by the teacher.
At the end of a course, every participant will receive an attendance certificate on condition that they have attended 75% of the lessons.
